One of the biggest and most underrated manga has recently gotten an anime adaptation. Yes, I am talking about DanDaDan, a supernatural romance comedy from Yukinobu Tatsu, it follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl who believes in ghosts and spirits, and Ken Takakura, whom Momo nicknames "Okarun", who believes in aliens but not ghosts. In a bet to determine who is correct, the two decide to separately visit locations associated with both the occult and the supernatural—Momo visiting the former, and Okarun visiting the latter. Momo is abducted by a group of aliens who accidentally unblock her chakras, enabling latent psychic abilities. Meanwhile, Okarun is possessed by a spirit who takes over his body. The story follows the evolving relationship between the two as they team up with each other and various school mates and family members to fight against the spirits and aliens. And for those of you who've watched and wonder, 'why does the opening sound familiar?' th...

With the success of the Percy Jackson live action and future seasons having been green lit, lets talk about the original book series. Rick Riordan is a best selling author of fantasy novels, inspired by ancient myths and legends, for young readers. While most people will recognize him for his 5 book series of the Olympians, he has other works that follow the same setting, for example the Kane Chronicles from the Egyptian mythologies, and Magnus Chase from the Norse. Rick Riordan's idea for the Percy Jackson series stemmed from bedtime stories for his son, who was also diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, similar to out titular character. The story premise of the Percy Jackson series is centered around 12 year old Percy Jackson, who learns he is a half-blood, a child of Poseidon, and it thrust into the world of heroes and monsters as he fights to save his mother and prove his innocence. And that's just the first book! What makes this series so amazing is that if has 3 sets of main...

As we grow older and life goes on, everything around us becomes more complicated. From our emotions and relationships to work and even what's supposed to be relaxing hobbies. With the idea that complexity is more impressive than simplicity, many have started vilifying simplicity as another form of laziness. I, however, disagree with this notion. And if you do to, then here are just a few ways to simplify your life. 1 - DE - CLUTTER: No seriously, clean out all of the things you will never use again, there's no reason to keep them. 2 - REDUCE GOALS AND COMMITMENTS: I'm not talking about cutting our people and giving up, what I do mean though is that you don't have to spend all day, every day running full throttle after others. 3 - REDUCE DEPT: Having dept causes a lot of stress and wastes time via overtime at work and extra jobs. I understand it's not that easy, but don't give up. 4 - STOP PROCRASTINATING: Finish small, easy tasks as they come. Y...

Three strikes and you're out! I have said it before and I'll say it again, bad art and animation style will ruin an anime's potential. And as of this moment we have 3 shows that have fallen due to this mistake. The first that popped up was Girls Band Cry - a coming-of-age music / slice of life that used 3D animation instead of the usual 2D that we know best, but it gets worse. Afterwards came 'DDDD', which is the abbreviated title for DEAD DEAD DEMONS DEDEDEDE DESTRUCTION, I genuinely don't understand this name and the reason for it. The premise for this show is a slice of life / alien invasion, and it got completely fucked over because of how Production +h did the art style, and look I can completely respect wanting to stay true to the source material, but sometimes no. Most recently there was a Rick and Morty anime released, and instead of either staying with the original, iconic animation, or even redrawing it into a more well-known anime style, they uglified...

Greetings, welcome to another one of my health and fitness posts. On this one I'm going to give you the basics of structuring an exercise routine, now you might be wondering 'Why do I need to make a routine, can't I just do whatever?' the answer is no you can't just do whatever, consistency is key to effectiveness and routines help us in keeping that consistency. Without further ado, let's get into it. OH NO! WHERE DO I START? HOW DOES END? Calm down, your fine. All good exercise routines start with a warmup and end in a cooldown. What are those you ask? Well, a warmup is a set of light activity exercises meant to prepare your body for the more strenuous activity of the 'body' of the routine by increasing heart rate and loosening the muscles. What is the point you may ask? the point is to reduce or all out avoid injury, examples of warmup exercises are - jumping jacks, mountain climbers and jogging. WARNING! - static stretching is not a warmup, you ar...
