A Dark Turn from a Lighthearted series

 What's up readers, it's that time of the month. For this rendition of Anime Rec/Rev I want to talk about an anime that went darker than even I expected, BanG Dream! Ave Mujica: The Die is Cast. Synopsis  Ave Mujica, the band to which Sakiko Togawa invited the members, was achieving commercial success through live performances and media exposure. A girl who had lost both the friends she had vowed to share her fate with and the house where she was born and raised. For what purpose does she bear the burden of another person's whole life and continue the band? She hides her past and her true face behind a mask, and tonight, she descends into the perfect miniature garden. This part of the BanG Dream series was set to follows the 'secrete' band Ave Musica on its journey to stardom, however things take a dramatic turn when during the first concert, one of the band mates unmasks them all, without forewarning or permission.  From this point on we are shown as the band spira...

Is the rythm failing?

 One of the more obscure genres in anime and manga is the music type, from idols and singers to DJ's and bands, the music genre usually consists of life lessons, amazing visuals and good music. This genre started gaining popularity from the likes of Love Live, Idol Master and K-On!  But is that still the case? Over the years there has been no shortage of music-based anime, such as Sound! Euphonium, Paradox Live and BanG Dream. There are three new music anime that recently finished of their seasons that I want to talk about, and in my personal opinion, only one of them did good. Let's start  Girls Band Cry, Right of the bat this cover art looks amazing, the plot is just as good, it follows high school dropout Nina Iseri as she moves out in order to prove her independence, there she meets other dropouts and outcasts, and they form a band due to their shared love of music.
